SWSR Annual Prize

Receive recognition for your collaborative research!

Collaboration is fundamental to research quality and success. It occurs across disciplines, institutions and national and international boundaries.

South West Sydney Research is offering a $5,000 prize to recognise and nurture collaborative research amongst our members. The winning research program can put the funds towards any research-related expense.

The winner of the 2017 SWSR Annual Prize is Professor Afaf Girgis and her team. Their collaborative program of research entitled, “Patient Reported Outcome Measures for Personalised Treatment and Care (PROMPT-Care); eHealth supporting patient-centred care“, aims to improve patient well-being and cancer outcomes through the implementation of the first eHealth system in Australia that is fully integrated in hospital oncology information systems (OIS), enabling routine collection of patient reported outcomes (PROs). Read more about the winning project here.

The SWSR Annual Prize will be offered again in 2018.
