Protecting mental (and physical) health during Covid-19

This presentation will examine the relationship between physical and mental health and discuss the importance of addressing modifiable lifestyle factors in the prevention and treatment of poor mental health. The latest evidence regarding exercise and diet and the role they play in achieving optimal mental health will be discussed. Finally, the potential of exercise as a mental health and psychosocial intervention for particularly vulnerable populations including those living with mental illness and in contexts of mass displacement with also be discussed.
